Is Auctioning Your Home A Good Way To Avoid Foreclosure?
ByI lost my job suddenly and in this county there is nothing to help me get back to where I was financially. I want to just sell and leave this area. Is auctioning my home a good idea?

Talk to a real estate agent that specializes in foreclosure. They will be able to help you out on what your best option would be.

As long as you get enough to pay what you owe on the house. Yes.

I would try one of those companies that buys your house first. At least that way you know how much you will get. An auction has no guarantee to how much you sell for. You will be responsible for whatever is left of the mortgage if you don’t get enough to pay it off.
